Newsletter and contact forms
Your newsletter and contact form details are stored on Microsoft Azure in its Australia East region. Emails from the website are sent through Azure Communication Services and may be processed outside Australia. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form comes from a person, not a bot; that check may also be handled outside Australia. Contacting Sylvie does not sign you up for the newsletter.
Joining the newsletter only takes effect after you confirm by email; a signup that isn’t confirmed expires after 7 days. Messages sent through the contact form are kept for about 13 months. If you unsubscribe, a minimal record with no name or email address is kept so that your address stays unsubscribed.
Remembering the newsletter invitation
The newsletter invitation opens automatically after you have spent some time on the website. When it appears, or when you join, this browser saves a reminder date in local storage so it does not ask again for six months. It contains no name, email address or newsletter consent.
You can remove the reminder date by clearing this website’s site data.
Other activity
This website does not use analytics or advertising pixels. External websites have their own privacy practices.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to that service and shares connection information, such as your IP address, to load them.
